Reading the battery size code
The code — YTX12-BS, TTZ14S — is an industry standard, so any quality AGM battery in the same size works. The number approximates capacity (a YTX20L-BS holds roughly twice a YTX9-BS), the trailing letters describe terminals and case. Stay with the factory size: a smaller battery may physically fit an ATV's tray but will struggle to crank a 500–700 cc engine on a cold morning.
How to confirm fitment for your exact model
Model names repeat across years and regions, so the safest way to order the right battery is to confirm it on your model's own diagram:

Keeping a powersports battery alive
Most KYMCO batteries die from sitting, not from use. If the machine parks more than a couple of weeks — typical for ATVs and snow-season scooters — a smart maintainer pays for itself several times over.
